Doryx Uses:
Take this medication exactly as prescribed for as long as prescribed, and do not stop taking it too soon even if you feel well. As a tetracycline antibiotic, Doryx works by killing bacteria associated with certain severe forms of acne, including adult acne associated with rosacea.

  Doryx Side Effects

Doryx Side Effects:
Common side effects include mild diarrhea, upset stomach, mild nausea and vomiting, mild skin rash, and vaginal itching with or without discharge. A side effect of antibiotics is diarrhea; however diarrhea may also be a sign of new or worsening infection. If you have diarrhea that is watery or bloody, contact your doctor immediately. Some side effects are severe and require immediate medical attention. These include: allergic reaction (difficulty breathing, hives, swelling in the face and lips, swelling in the tongue or throat), confusion, jaundice, pale skin, fever, changes in vision or burning in your eyes, dizziness, body aches and other flu like symptoms, muscle weakness, skin pain followed by a red or purple rash that spreads across the upper body with blistering and peeling, new or worsening cough, chest pain, shortness of breath, irregular heartbeat, severe headache, easy bruising or bleeding.
